Meet the Owner
David Ceja
My family’s roots in the Central Valley go back more than 50 years. My parents came to Lodi as immigrants, working hard to create opportunities for their family. Once they were established, they brought me and my siblings here, and this became the place where we grew up, worked, and built our lives.
I’m one of eight children, and agriculture was always part of our family’s story. Both of my parents spent much of their lives working in the fields, so I learned early what it meant to work hard and earn a living from the land.
My dad, especially, had a genuine love for farming. He taught me to appreciate the land, to take pride in your work, and to understand the patience it takes to make something grow. Those lessons stayed with me and eventually became the foundation for Ceja Farms.
Today, I’m proud to continue what my parents started in the Central Valley—not just working the land, but building something our family can carry forward for generations.
